The Chinese cut interest rate by 0.27percentage point. The Ireland government secure their citizenââ¬â¢s saving, by promising great incentives and rewards such as bonds and deposits. The Indian government had to invest 12.2bn into the money market when their stock market tumbled to its lowest. This crisis affects the outsourcing BPO industry in that governments implement strategies that alter their profit margin and decision making. These strategies also prevent institutions from taking irresponsible risk, which would have caused the government to bail out the institutions and consumers losing their monies. Governments have to protect their peopleââ¬â¢s deposits, therefore strong restriction were put in place so that companies make informed decision before investing and outsourcing other resou rces. Managers in the BPO industry have to adjust their strategies and managerial style to accommodate these issues which can be crippling.
